I’ve been wanting to do this for like five years.
Finally, I resolved to get myself a Wald 137 basket and strap it to the front rack on my Norco singlespeed.
I know this is not the biggest job in the world, it took me about fifteen minutes including the time it took to take pictures, but it really changes the bike and adds a lot of capability to my about-town/market bike.
The job itself was super simple. I got a Wald 137 basket, a rack that I’ve had for ever, and ziptied the two together. The only thing I made sure to do was to ensure the basket was centered and that was just cuz I knew it would bug me if it were off.
Six zipties along the edges and I was good to go.
Like I said, not much to it, but a big drastic difference.
Looking forward to carrying shit all over town this summer!
