Here it is!
We are pretty much exactly two months out from the Rambler (Aug. 27!!) So here is the route. I actually tried it over the weekend to make sure it works (it does) and to make sure we can do it in a reasonable amount of time (we can!).
The route is basically a showcase of the Comox Valley.
We are planning a 104 km mixed surface gravel ramble ride in the Comox Valley. The event is going to be a camp out, with the ride starting at Cumberland Lake at 11 a.m. on (date). Based on my Komoot info, it’s 46.9 km unpaved, and the rest paved or “unknown.” A bunch of single track, some trails, some paths, some roads, and 1,110 metres of elevation gain.
What I’ve decided to do is put together some prizes for people on the ride. A bit more of a reason to come out and have a good time.
What kind of bike? What kind of snacks? What about water?
