Marc Kitteringham

I went for my first 100+km ride the other day. I pointed my bike north and went until the land ended. At the ferry terminal, I turned around and took the long way home.

Exploring a place like this by bike extends my world. Every new place I go turns into a part of what I can consider my world. It is like there are blank places on the map that open up for me.

I know this ride is small peanuts for most people. However, I have only been in the world of cycling for a few years, and this size of ride was inconceivable to me. I made it my mission to get one under my belt this summer... part of a bucket list I guess. Now that I've got a century checked off, I can focus on the next item on my list. Stay tuned for it!
