Alex has built this bike up so many different ways. Under the blue paint, it is a Trek XO2. That was a long time ago and a lot has changed.
When I first saw it, it had flat bars and fenders. Since then he stripped it down and rebuilt it, putting drop bars, a Sunrace bar end shifter, cantilever brakes and Panaracer Pasela tires.
A mixed group of Ultegra cranks, 1 chainring and Deore 9 speed rear mech makes it stick out.
There are a few classic touches like the inclusion of cantilever brakes, drop bars, indexed barcons and tan wall tires.
Its the comfiest setup this bike has had.
