Andy is a big fan of technology. He likes making things work in unintended ways and finding out new ways of doing things. This bike is exactly that, and it is extremely Andy.
1x11 SRAM Force Drivetrain in that awesome purple, some custom Surly Knard 650b CX tires for the winter, and a custom jiggered dropper post made out of a cross-top brake lever make this more exciting than your average gravel bike. Thats not even including the lefty fork and one-sided Cannondale hub (also purple).
This bike changes through the seasons, from fall shredder pictured above to summer long hauler as below. Andy took it on the Kettle Valley Railway trail in August, getting it covered in dust in summer mode.
An all around fun bike that is full of modern weirdness in the best way. Its a combination of fun, technical creativity and long haul exploration. These are often the best parts of bikes and I'd have to say I'm jealous!
